Settings
Configure your workspace preferences, API keys, and integrations.
Overview
The Settings page is where you configure display preferences, API integrations, notification rules, and workspace metadata. Most settings are available to Owners and Admins only.
General Settings
- Workspace name — the display name shown in the sidebar and workspace switcher
- Tracked domain — the primary domain Citatra monitors across all prompts and audits
- Default search location — the geographic region used for new prompt tracking
- Default language — the language used when querying search engines
API Keys
Citatra integrates with external services through API keys:
- SerpApi key (required) — powers search engine result tracking for your prompts
- Gemini API key — enables AI-powered features like recommendations, audit analysis, and semantic mapping
- GA4 property ID — connects Google Analytics 4 data for traffic attribution and conversion tracking
Notifications
Configure how and when you receive alerts:
Email Notifications
- New tracking results available
- Significant visibility changes (gains or drops)
- Weekly digest summary
In-App Notifications
- Competitor alerts when new competitors appear
- Prompt volume alerts for tracked terms
- Recommendation updates
Data Management
- Export — download your workspace data in JSON or CSV format for analysis or backup
- Clear history — remove historical tracking data while keeping your configuration
- Delete workspace — permanently remove the workspace and all associated data (Owner only)
Danger Zone
Workspace deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All prompts, tracking history, audits, competitors, and team memberships will be removed. Make sure to export any data you need before proceeding.
⚠️ Note
API keys are encrypted at rest. Only workspace owners and admins can view or modify API key settings.
